BBQ Repair: There are some occasions when a BBQ may need to be repaired by an engineer. If you feel that your BBQ needs this service and it does not fall into the warranty period, follow the steps below to book a visit from our recommended repair agent. Big Green Egg Warranty

Core Ceramic Components

• Every Big Green Egg carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty for materials and workmanship. We’re so confident that this warranty extends to most of our ceramic and metal parts too.
• This Warranty is valid for as long as the original purchaser owns the EGG or part in question. There are a few exceptions, so we’ve explained them below.
• Other Ceramic Products:
• Our ConvEGGtor and Ceramic Baking Stones carry a Limited Three Year Warranty to the original purchaser. These are not covered if they break by being dropped or mis-used.

Metal Components:

• Metal, stainless steel and cast iron components of the EGG (including the metal bands, hinge mechanism, stainless steel cooking grid, fire grate, rEGGulator and lower draft door) carry a limited five year warranty to the original purchaser.
• The Big Green Egg makes every effort to use materials that resist rust. We also use high temperature paint on metal surfaces. However, metal materials and protective coatings can be compromised with scratches or certain chemicals. Among other things, chlorine, industrial fumes, chemicals, fertilisers, extreme humidity, lawn pesticides and salt are some of the things that can corrode the paint and finish on metal coatings. As such, the Warranty on metal, stainless steel and cast iron components does not cover rust, oxidation, fading or other blemishes, unless it also causes these components to fail or lose structural integrity.

Wood Components:

• Wood items, including Shelves and Big Green Egg Tables, carry a Limited One Year Warranty to the original purchaser. Wood products are not covered for normal weathering or cracks unless there’s also a loss of structural integrity.

NOTE: Do not place an EGG directly on or near a combustible surface without the use of a Big Green Egg Metal Nest or Metal Table Nest, or without making use of another fireproof barrier such as a 2” concrete paver. This will void the Warranty, and we expressly disclaim any liability for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage which may result.

Temperature Gauge & Gasket:

• Gaskets and the Temperature Gauge carry a Limited One Year Warranty to the original purchaser.

Bull

Bull BBQs are covered by an extensive warranty. To register a warranty claim you will need the following information:

1. Make and model of the BBQ
2. Serial Number. This can be found on the data plate situated at the back of the BBQ
3. Images of the item along with parts that are causing the issue
4. Symptoms of the fault. ie. no gas coming through the burners
